Progress Report
Since my progress report last month, we’ve cut the corner off the west end of Route 66 at Williams, AZ and ridden directly to San Diego. Thanks to a brand new feature of Google Maps, I can chart our progress from 1301 Harlem Avenue, Berwyn, IL, to 430 E Route 66, Williams, AZ, and then on to 5343 Adobe Falls Rd, San Diego, CA via Phoenix, AZ — A journey of 2207 miles, driveable in 1 day 8 hours and 51 minutes.
Naturally, we were enjoying the scenery and rode a little over 3000 miles in 18 days, taking plenty of time off to visit all the attractions. We’ll finish the Western end of Route 66 next year…
