What’s in My Gadget Bag?
Over on Connected Internet, fellow Brit blogger Everton Blair asks:
What’s in Your Gadget Bag?
And since it would be rude of me not to answer, here’s all the gadgety goodness that goes everywhere with me:
- Motorola RAZR V3i — looks sexy, but apart from the camera is the worst phone I’ve ever owned;
- Tom Tom Rider SatNav — I love this, pity it’s been discontinued
- Moleskine Pocket Diary — Best PDA I’ve ever owned;
- 60GB Apple iPod Video — I’m waiting on the touted widescreen video iPod before I upgrade;
- 1GB USB Flash Drive — with bootable Puppy Linux VM if incase I’m stuck with only a Windows machine in an internet cafe.
And when I’m traveling, I also take with me:
- Apple macBook with 120GB HD upgrade;
- Chargers, adaptors and sync cables for all of the above.
I’m also the proud owner of a woefully under-used Sharp Zaurus micro-laptop. I seemed to spend more time tweaking it, and trying out various flavours of Linux on it than actually doing anything with it, so I upgraded to a Moleskine. One day, I’ll have more time on my hands to play with it some more.
