Nine and a Half Weeks (in Dodford)

Woodcote Farm

After a week of driving up and down the country we finally moved in to our new home for the remainder of our nine and a half week stay in England. We’re staying in a studio apartment in a converted barn at Woodcote Farm B&B, which (as you can see from the surrounding fields in the satellite photo in the sidebar) is right in the middle of the English countryside. To get to the building you have to cross the bridge over a lovely river and go under a topiary arch, so Tave is certainly feeling right at home. We’re also just under 3 miles from Bromsgrove, and about 6 miles from the Motorway, so even though I’m a bit of a city boy at heart, I don’t feel too cut off from civilisation! :-)

Woodcote Apartment

The owners are extremely friendly and accomodating, and the apartment is clean and airy with all modern conveniences — even wireless internet, so that I can work! I’m looking forward to enjoying Autumn here in the English country, and hope that the weather doesn’t spoil my chance to get some use out of my MT01 before we leave again at the end of November…
