Programming with GNU Utilities

O’Reilly have pulled out on my current book. Although I was particularly remiss with maintaining my own momentum, we had little support and feedback from the various development editors assigned to us. We authors are trying to decide what to do with the manuscript: most likely we will donate the content thus far to the FSF, and hope to have a maintainer assigned to it. There are several advantages that spring to mind:

1. The FSF like their documents in info format, which we have used
2. The book should be maintained to remain current with respect to the tools it documents.
3. We may eventually see a dead tree edition
