Had an excellent weekend. Val and I went to Bodmin to take part in the Cornish Open. Thanks in part to the boxing skills I have picked up in Jeet Kune Do over the last month I won a bronze medal in the amalgamated Mens’ Black Belt divisions. I finished GwangGae again, scoring only 8.9 this time — my breathing was too shallow despite putting in what I thought was a good pattern technically.

Having replaced my battery (forgot to take it out for the winter in all the excitement of throwing it down the road) and moving one of the pillion footpegs forward I got my bike running again. It is fast approaching the 4 month anniversary of my placing my order for a clutch lever and nearside rider’s footpeg with Three Cross Motorcycles, and still I haven’t received them. I love my Cagiva, it really is a truly excellent all round road bike, but Three Cross are the absolute worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with or I wouldn’t have another Cagiva. I’m going to order the same parts from my local dealer (who will in turn get them from Three Cross) in the hope that they are able to get hold of the parts more easily than I can.
Do not buy anything that relies on after sales care from Three Cross Motorcycles!
