First competition of the season, and what an event! This was the largest GTI championships ever with almost 600 contestants. I spent the greater part of the day refereeing to qualify for my refs certification, but it’s been such a long time since I competed that I entered ChoongJang in the Black Belt division. This was my first attempt at this pattern in competition, and again I was pleased with my performance. Again my average was 8.9, though I have no idea what the judges disliked about it.
