Went to see the new Jackie Chan flick, Around the World in 80 Days, last Thursday, and despite being a bit underwhelmed, I did at least manage to get out of the rain. As always with Jackie Chan, the stunt and martial arts choreography was impeccable, and as a bit of light hearted fun, the film delivers. Such as it was, I quite enjoyed it, but it doesn’t pass the acid test for me: I won’t bother to buy it on DVD.

I survived the Evolution Tae Kwon-Do Summer Camp in Croyde Bay, North Devon!! I am exhausted, but I enjoyed every minute.
I arrived on Sunday afternoon and pitched my tent before introducing myself to Mr. Wachon, 4th Dan, founder of Evolution Tae Kwon-Do and Mr. Francis Miller, promoted to 3rd Dan since he broke my nose earlier this year :-) Shortly, we all attended the startup meeting where we were given our T-Shirts. I went into Croyde village for dinner at a lovely Thai restaurant before retiring just after sunset in readiness for an early start the next morning.
